These guys were great! Tony was very easy to work with, informative, and got the job done right away! I will be keeping their number handy for the future. Brian McDonald is a very professional, intuitive, thorough repairman & technician. He exceeded my expectations and will be getting all of my future business. Our technician was Michael. I cannot say enough good things about the way that he works. He is professional, highly knowledgable, and gets the job done. I learned several interesting things about our dryer and was so pleased to have the job accomplished quickly and well. Michael was here within one day of contact. Paul did an EXCELLENT job at getting my Mothers Fridge/Freezer up and running! My mom is a senior citizen so she was given a senior discount. They offer a full one year warranty, have been in business over 15 years & are family owned. I was speaking on phone with my Mom while he was there and it only took about 10 minutes to fix it, it was the starter and he knew immediately! I knew it was fixed because Mom started screaming with Joy! I added him to my contacts in my iPhone and also wrote it in my old school planner Lol. They also sell new appliances I was told for a substantial discount as well as used appliances AND they deliver!!! Thank You Motor City Appliance Repair and thank you Thumbtack for helping me find such trustworthy, competent company!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not complicated. How ever exact pricing over the phone is almost impossible. Machines need to be looked at and fully inspected. Each call is unique and may require more then the obvious.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure provider is qualified. Unfortunately there aren't any state licenses required for appliance repair. Experince is a must.
