Introduction: Hi! My name is Carole. Thank you for coming to our profile page for Nosh Events! I personally have 22 years of professional restaurant and catering experience and I have an amazing team that has the same drive and passion for all things food. I have worked at 4 and 5 star top regarded restaurants in metro Detroit and have vast experience with various types of cuisines. The biggest thing that sets Nosh apart from any other caterer is that we prefer to do restaurant style food - "a la minute" scratch cooking is what we call it! Our food is locally sourced as much as possible (difficult in the winter, right?) and prepared with the freshest, highest quality ingredients. Carole prepares meals for us weekly. It is extremely convenient for us and our lifestyle. The food is top notch - it’s like having a 5 star restaurant at home! The meals are also healthy, she was able to accommodate any restricts or requests we’ve had so far.

Carole is a wonderful chef! She gave my parents a wonderful home-cooked meal (filet mignon) as a belated Christmas present. My parents raved about her cooking and said that she was a wonderful to have in the house and to talk to during the whole process. They had leftovers for days! I should also mention that Carol is super responsive and made it a breeze to arrange everything.

Carole is amazing and so easy to work with. She has catered many events such as showers, rehearsal dinner, holiday dinners and small gatherings for me. She has the best menu ideas. Her food is delicious and the presentation is out of this world. My friends and family look forward to any event when Carole is involved.

Carole cooked dinner for my wife and I celebrating our 20th Anniversary. It was an absolutely fabulous meal and she couldn't have been nicer or more professional. Anyone looking for a great meal prepared in their home should not hesitate.....you won't be disappointed.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Our pricing is based on a per person rate, and it all depends on the type of cuisine you are looking for, our pricing is market variable per week depending on proteins sourced. If you desire to have a *Covid friendly meal dropped off to you, we do this all of the time. Typically the pricing for this service has a reduced per person rate in which delivery is free of charge over $200.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    When planning your event and looking to hire a catering professional, the more information we have about you and your vision the better! If you're looking for a chef who creates custom tailored menu's like we do, the more information upfront then the easier it is to closely align with your desire. i.e., *Do you have a vision // theme for your event? *What are your favorite foods // favorite restaurant to dine at? *Do you have any allergies or dietary restrictions we need to prepare for? *Do you have a venue that accepts outside catering, if so, is there a full-service kitchen to work with? That will help eliminate OPC fee's. *Are you working with a budget? Etc etc!
