Let me start by saying they have done 3 projects for me (renovating my entire downstairs, renovating my entire upstairs, and some work on my outdoors/crawl space). The entire team is respectful, clean, honest, and go above and beyond for the client. They each ensure the highest quality with every task and don’t cut corners. They are honest and trustworthy. They also have expertise from residential to commercial work. They work diligently until the job is complete and don’t spread out the timeline - in fact they actually work efficiently to be done right on time, if not sooner than expected. I highly recommend them if you want the job done right!

Marcelo and his team completed a full first floor renovation of our home – new cabinets, quartz countertops, and full backsplash, hardwood, and LVP flooring, updated lighting, and a full redesign of our living space. From day, one, what stood out was his work ethic and attention to detail. He was on site consistently, communicated clearly every step of the way, and never let a detail slide– the kind of craftsmanship that is a rare to find.
What really sets him apart is that he doesn’t do surface level fixes. When something came up during the project, he took the time to identify what was actually causing it and corrected that first, rather than patching over the symptom and calling it done. That kind of thoroughness isn’t something you see often and it gave us real confidence that the work would hold up long-term, not just look good on day one.
He’s also one of the most organized and clean contractors we’ve worked with. He tracked hours and progress transparently, and kept the schedule on track, and finished the project ahead of schedule and under budget. There was never a moment that we felt out of the loop or unsure where things stood. The entire renovation project exceeded our expectations and he was a pleasure to work with and his team matched that same standard. If you want a contractor who treats your home like it’s his own and backs it up with real transparency and follow through. This is the team!

Blue Coast Construction remodeled my kitchen in West Bloomfield and it is perfect. They consulted with me on all design choices and really thought things through before touching a thing to ensure that the kitchen would have everything I wanted within my budget. They removed a load bearing wall to open up my kitchen to my living room, and you would never know a wall used to be there looking at it today. They also helped me order all new appliances and installed them for me, added a new window and door where a wall used to be, quartz countertops, new light fixtures, countertop-to-ceiling backsplash, and hardwood oak floors. Marcelo is so kind and patient he took the time to answer all of my questions and cleaned up the job site everyday before leaving for the night. He also gave me detailed and frequent invoices to ensure budget transparency. He accommodated changes when I changed my mind and checked in with me after the project was done to make sure everything was all good. Best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor!

Marcelo and his Blue Coast crew built us a brand new deck from scratch. They did an amazing job. They were very hard working, always arrived on time and were very professional. They produced high-quality work and took every detail into account. I would highly recommend Blue Coast to anyone looking for a company they can trust & does high-quality work.
