FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All services require a detailed intake form. If you are seeing me for nutrition I first do a free 30 minute discovery call to see if we are a good fit. If we both agree to move forward the initial consultation is in-depth with several forms to fill out. Getting detailed information helps to form a plan for long term goals with your health. If you are seeing me for body work the process is simple. The intake form is completed. On your first visit we talk for a few minutes about your goal for the massage and I tell you about the modalities that may be used during the session. We talk about pressure and your specific pain points.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied functional nutrition at The Nutritional Therapy Association and received my certificate in 2017. I graduated from Irene’s Myomassology in Southfield, MI in February of 2020. I am currently enrolled in Upledger Institute for Craniosacral Therapy and have completed CST1. I will complete CST2 this March. I am fascinated with how the human body works and it’s innate ability to heal.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in holistic wellness because of my own health issues. Conventional methods weren’t working for fibromyalgia and Lyme disease. So I turned to nutrition and alternative healing methods. I eventually added bodywork to my own protocols and decided I wanted to be able to support my clients with massage and craniosacral therapy as well.
