We hired Mike to cater for our wedding reception on 4/21/17. We picked him mainly based on reviews here. We thought how can we do wrong with someone who has received so many excellent reviews....and we found out that we were absolutely right and that the reviews were very accurate.
The planning and service provided was very professional and with an obvious personal touch that puts you at ease immediately. Mike will work with you based on your budget and give you suggestions on what to prioritize spending money on and where to skimp out and that nobody will notice or care.... He was absolutely right on his suggestions. He has immense experience that he can give you great suggestions and execute what you wanted out of the evening in a flawless professional manner... above and beyond your expectations.
The food received great reviews from our guests. To be honest, for the money we spent you can't get such diverse fare he put together for us from anyone else here in Michigan....at least that is what we found out from the couple of months of shopping around we did....
His staff were excellent and managed the bar and the buffet extremely well. The chef himself will come out, serve and talk to your guests in his chef outfit and in general help liven up the buffet experience and the party in general.
I highly recommend Mike and his team.

With a short lead time, Chef Michael provided great turnaround for a family dinner for 15+ guests... We collaborated on the menu and the food was enjoyed by all. Great service throughout the process - from menu development, meal prep, serving, and clean up... A job well done and we will recommend him to others.

I hired Michael from the website without not really knowing what to expect. I have to say it was the best decision I ever made. He came home took time to listen to what I need didn't try to push anything, and design a great menu. The day of the party he set up everything, even finished cooking some of the foot at home! The food was excellent , all fresh and tasty. Everybody wanted to know who made it, and he got a big round of applause when he came to get his equipment. Everybody took his business card with them.

Michael catered my mother's 80th b-day party. We had 15 folks coming in from all over for the occasion. I was responsible for the meal planning and thankfully stumbled across Michael's profile. He did an EXCELLENT job. After I explained the situation, he asked what my mother's favorite dishes were to help me plan the meal. He delivered an outstanding meal, helped prepare the settings and (per our choice) left us to devour. Everyone was so happy with the result. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent four years at College in London.
I spent four years training at the same time and place as Gordon Ramsey.
We both were put through our paces to see if we would hold up to the riggers of working in a five star Hotel, Restaurant, and extensive banqueting operation.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First of all, Do not be scared to ask questions. A professional will take the time to better understand exactly what you are looking for.
Ask if your chef will visit you to allow you and them feel at ease.
