I used RainCheck for winterizarion and spring turn-on of my irrigation system. The winterization work was thorough and professional. The spring team work is much simpler than the winterization (essentially just turned on the water and switches, and do some visual inspection), but the cost is twice as much as winterization. Also the technician does not know how to use my irrigation controller so I have to run back and forth to set the controller zone by zone to let him test. Its definitely not worth the money and trouble. Ill probably hire them for the winterization again, but definitely not the spring job

Terrible communication and complete lack of preparation.I have had Rain Check out three separate times over the last seven months for the exact same irrigation issue. Unbelievably, every single time they showed up, they failed to bring the parts necessary to actually fix the problem. The first two visits were just pushed down the road. On the third visit, the tech finally left the property to go buy the part.While they were here for that third attempt, they identified a secondary issue that needed fixing. However, they ran out of business hours and stated they would return the following week to complete the job. We are now halfway through that following week, and I haven't received a single call or text to schedule the return visit.Seven months and three trips out, and my system is still not fully repaired. Look elsewhere if you value communication, preparation, and actually getting the job done.

Hi Eric, we appreciate the feedback, and after reviewing your experience, we understand your frustration. Three visits without fully resolving the issue and the lack of follow-up communication afterward is not the level of service we aim to provide.
In irrigation repair, there are times when additional issues are uncovered once a system is opened up and running, but we should have done a much better job with preparation, communication, and setting clear expectations throughout the process. That part is on us.
We’d like the opportunity to make this right and properly complete the remaining repairs. Our office will be reaching out directly to coordinate a return visit and ensure the necessary parts are on hand beforehand.
