Our Story:
Latifah & Vauhnn Cooley Events also known as LV21 Events started literally at the top of the morning. While I was pregnant with our daughter, I was brainstorming how my husband and I could create more income for our family but doing something we both love. When we got married ourselves, we eloped and found our very own officiant on thumbtack. I thought to myself we could do it too. My husband woke up one morning and I said to him, “Babe guess what, I’m an ordained minister!”. It first started out as an idea and grew into a whole business for us. That’s when we decided to officially name our business and create a business plan to serve every loving couple by giving them luxury wedding services.

Wedding & Event Photography
Party planning and decor.
Wedding planning to the fullest.
Witnessing the couple wilfully give their consent to the marriage and signing the marriage license.
Making sure the finished marriage license is properly filed with the State.
Writing and performing wedding ceremonies.
Coordinating the wedding party and leading the wedding rehearsal.
Consultation questionnaire. This is a meet a greet phone session to discuss your vision and allow us to get to know each couple personally.

We recently had Pastor Cooley conduct our ceremony. I appreciate how they were able to be flexible with us, as our ceremony was planned last minute. They were very accommodating and personable every step of the way. Pastor Cooley came early for the ceremony and helped calm some of those last minute jitters. It was a pleasure working with the Cooley's!!!

I cant say enough! Minister Vaughn . We had to reach out because our original person scheduled to perform the ceremony had to drop out do illness .Latifah and Vaughn were responsive and were able to step in and save our day! There was an unexpected delay in our ceremony. Minister Vaughn was patient, encouraging and supportive. I cant thank you enough and would always recommend their services

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a $75 (non-refundable) deposit due to save the date.
Schedule a free consultation via our website as soon as possible. It is important that we get to know each couple personally. This helps us serve you better and allows us the create the most memorable wedding ceremony of your dreams.
We customize our wedding scripts to meet each couples wishes. We have various packages you can choose from for wedding officiant services.
Silver:
Sign & Go $160 which includes signing paperwork only.
Gold:
Small wedding ceremony $250 includes wedding script. Attending rehearsals is an extra fee of $75 each rehearsal session. Each session is 1 hour after the first hour each additional hour is $50 per hour for additional wedding coordination and assistance.
Platinum:
Large Wedding Ceremony $300
custom wedding script
marriage certificate is an extra fee of $10
frame can be added for an additional charge depending on frame of your choice

All package prices are base totals. This does not include the price for travel expenses and or additional add ons.

We are legal ordained ministers with Universal Life Church.
