I have 20 years of experience as a pet sitter and a clinical social worker. Caretaking is my passion and career! I love animals and belong to the Humane Society and ASPCA organization that care for abused, neglected, and abandoned animals. I have rescued many animals on my own. I would never walk away from any animal in need. I am exceptional with animals. Most are calm with me regardless of how they behave with others. I have had friends, clients, the Huron Valley Humane Society, Planned Pethood and Midwest Rabbit Rescue and Rehome notice this. In addition, I worked as a volunteer with a rabbit rescue. I fostered and did behavior modification with bunnies who were extremely anxious and aggressive. I was the only one who could get a bunny named Noah to stop biting. He had done this for years. Within 24 hours of fostering him he never bit me or anyone else again. I did this without violence or reprimands. I do not use that kind of training. After Noah, the shelter sent me more bunnies in need of behavior modification. I am very good with sick and older pets. I had to go to a friends home daily to give medication to his Cocker Spaniel because he could not do it on his own. I am experienced in giving medications and in administering IVs. I often diagnose health issues missed by pet owners and animal rescues. I have been able to diagnose diabetes and ear issues in dogs, cats who were in pain, and bunnies who had bladder stones. I also work very well with frightened and anxiety disordered pets. I provide overnight care, walking, behavior modification, house sitting, transporting pets to appointments and taking pets to training classes. I am happy to take your dog to a dog park and help them to learn to interact with other dogs. I have cared for others' pets for 20 years and I absolutely love animals, all types and breeds. I am comfortable taking care of exotic pets, have worked with therapy dogs, and work with people who need animals to balance their lives. I will love your pets like they are my own!
