We needed an attic insulation for our house. He came and take a look at the attic and gave us the a reasonable price quote. His crew came as promised and did the job well. We noticed that the house is holding heat well. What I like about him is the honesty. There's a rebate for the attic that he told us about from the county electric department. When other contractors gave us a quote, by math it seems they want to eat the rebate for themselves. Thus they would raise the price with same amount of the rebate. He filed the rebate per the county's instruction which is admirable. He's generally very responsive which is nice.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a BPI certified RBE-WHALCI - air sealing and insulation certification required by utility companies to offer their rebates. I am a BPI certified Building Analyst - a certification often obtained if one wanted to become an existing home energy auditor. I am a RESNET certified HERS Rater - the certificate required to do energy ratings on new construction homes. I am also a proctor for the two BPI certifications. Meaning I train/teach/certify others.
