Professionally trained and certified home inspector. We believe in a neutral 3rd party inspection. There is no interest on the work to be performed or bids provided to correct defects. We look out for our customers and have the intent to inform our clients on the physical condition of the home at the time of inspection. Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult. Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing. One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work—a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A buyers inspection for a home depends on the size of the home. Inspections start at $325. Radon testing is a flat rate $150 when purchased with an inspection.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A typical visual based noninvasive home buyer inspection of a 2000sqft home takes roughly 3 hours. It includes the electrical, mechanical, structural, insulation, ventilation and much more. The roof is walked if it is safe and readily accessible by our 17' ladder. The front is removed from the electrical box as well if it is safe and readily accessible. The attic is entered if it is safe, readily accessible and safely reached with our ladder. A comprehensive digital report is generated within 24 hours that includes pictures, illustrations and hyperlinks to more information. Our inspection includes a recall check on the home's appliances, 90 day warranty, sewer guard (protection for the plumbing on the exterior of the foundation) and a BUY BACK GUARANTEE!
