FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a standard pricing system. However, in this field with the many services provided, it would be much too lengthy to communicate. One quick note I want to mention about pricing is that one 5000 sq./ft. lawn can be so different than the next 5000 sq./ft. lawn. It is best to come out and learn about the characteristics of your lawn. If you have a relatively flat 5000 sq./ft. lawn with little or no obstacles, the pricing would be less than a 5000 sq./ft. lawn with trees throughout, with a massively hilly terrain.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every lawn/yard exhibits different characteristics. I believe that in order to give a fair quote to the potential client, the lawn needs to be viewed personally. I like to ask questions to learn about the customer's needs/wants and explain how I can meet and/or exceed those needs/wants. I do understand that some potential clients are extremely busy, so if meeting the customer is not an option, I at least like to view the property via satellite or at least walk the property, with a follow up call or E-mail after, with my quote. There is never any pressure and questions are always strongly encouraged. I want both parties to be equally comfortable with one another.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing lawn care, since the age of 14. I have worked for a lawn care company prior to starting my own company. I have been on my own for 3 years and am continuing to grow each year by simply doing a great job for my clients and being fair with my pricing. I am also licensed by the Department of Agriculture.
