Introduction: It is time to get married!!! Let me help you tell your story! Do you know what is great about getting married in today's world!? You can do WHATEVER YOU WANT! I challenge you to make your ceremony your own! Tell your love story and incorporate your family and friends so that they don't have to sit through another boring wedding! Let's have fun while including the traditions that are important to you. We'll be serious where we need to be. I am an open-Minded, easy-going, Non-Denominational Ordained Minister. I have been doing weddings since 2010 and still love it like I started yesterday! I don't discriminate! I believe in love! Not what religion you are, what your sexual orientation is, or where you come from. I am constantly researching the business and watching for new and upcoming ideas. I will make suggestions and let you know from experience what has worked and what has not. I do large weddings, small weddings, just a signing of your marriage license, renewal of vows, commitment ceremonies, traditional ceremonies, unique ceremonies, themed ceremonies, you name it! The only thing I can not do are weddings of incarcerated individuals. I travel anywhere in MN (a travel fee is applicable if over 60 miles from Big Lake) and encourage couples to personalize their vows and ceremonies! I believe in two individuals coming together to build a life together but still remaining individuals. I believe couples work together to support each other's growth and dreams. They encourage the other to be better than they already are. A support team. Never will I use the saying "I promise to obey my husband"! Sorry guys that is old school! I will also not ask if anyone objects to the marriage. Because it's your wedding and frankly we don't care what they think! Right? If they don't like it they can go to someone else's wedding;) I try to keep our process pretty simple and make everything available online so you can access it 24/7. I do require us to meet a few weeks before your ceremony to go over all the details of your ceremony and answer any questions you or I may have. I invite you to my office in Big Lake for this. Angie was a fantastic addition to our wedding day! Her first impression was a good one; We had emailed her asking for information and she responded within the day (which is a big plus in my book!) During our meetings she was very helpful and straight forward in how the ceremony process would go. Angie also includes worksheets that really do come in handy if you are a confused bride-to-be! Our wedding day turned out to be cold, rainy, and outdoors but Angie played it off with a little bit of humor and quickly got through the ceremony without rushing it. It was also really nice to find an officiant that was young and a women; not to be stereotypical but we weren't looking for an old man to marry us :P Thanks Angie for making our day that much more special! ~The Robinsons

Angie performed our wedding ceremony last weekend (Oct 18th) and we could not have been happier with how things went. We wanted a ceremony that was unique to us and a little different from the traditional ceremony. Working with Angie made the entire process very easy. Using the worksheets she provided we were able to get a general idea of how the ceremony would flow and where we could customize it. Then at our final meeting before the ceremony we worked out all the details. Angie was great at helping plan the details from the order people would walk to suggesting what would be a great entrance for me (we were a little clueless). And when the big day came we were amazed at how well the ceremony was tailored to us. My husband is a huge Star Trek fan and she was able to work that in, as well as coming up with a beautiful and fitting lead-in to our unity ceremony of building a Lego heart. We would definitely recommend Angie to anyone looking for a very personal ceremony!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$100 Simple Signing of Marriage License in Big Lake MN (no exchange of vows) $150 Simple Signing of Marriage License outside of Big Lake MN (no exchange of vows, additional travel fees will apply if over 60 miles) $200 Just Us Ceremony (No wedding party or guests) just you and your two witnesses. $250 Mini Ceremony (No Wedding Party~Just your two witnesses and any number of guests) $300 Basic Ceremony (Wedding Party) $400 Basic Ceremony with Rehearsal (the night before at 7 PM) ADD-ON OPTIONS $100 Ceremony Music $75 travel fee if over 60 miles one way $50 for any Readings or Unity Ceremonies $50-$450 Pre-Marital Counseling $200 Early Rehearsal (the day before anytime before 7 PM)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I keep things as simple as possible! Once we agree on the type of service you need, I send you an email with a proposal of what we discussed, an invoice and a contract. You would then approve the proposal, electronically sign the contract, and pay a $50.00 non refundable down payment. Your date and time are then secured. Once these things are done, you are emailed a password and access to your client portal. In the client portal you will find example vows, wedding flow, and other planning help. Two weeks before your ceremony we meet to go over all the details and answer any questions you and I may have. The day of your ceremony I arrived an hour before the ceremony begins. I visit with your other vendors to make sure we are all on the same page. After the ceremony I make sure to collect the signatures needed for the Marriage License and file it for you. Once that’s completed I also email you a copy of it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always seeking out information, and I encourage my clients to do the same. In this field things change rapidly. I gain information from searching the internet, reading books, attending conferences, exchanging ideas with clients and others in my field. I also view videos on YouTube to watch for things I can improve on or add. I listen to past clients concerns or ideas. And most importantly, I never stop researching.
