Nic showed up on a rainy day to give me my estimate. After telling him what I was looking to have done, he pointed out another problematic branch I hadn't paid attention to. Nic also ground my stumps! He and his crew did everything that day and for a reasonable price. Nic is a very nice guy, and I'll be giving him a call next time I need tree work done.

Initially I was looking for someone to trim one of the trees in our yard that was overgrown from the previous owners. I knew that some of the other trees in our yard needed work, as there were four very large pines that were aged and more "in the way."
When Nicholas came over to talk through ideas with me, he pointed out that one of the pines in particular was starting to lean (towards our house) and in general they were nearing the end of their lifespans.
He suggested removing them all, and replacing them with newer trees. However, at no point did I feel like he was "leading me on" to do more work than I needed. I did decide that it would be best to remove the trees since they were very tall and very close to our house, waiting for a strong enough wind to cause major issues.
So, Nicholas came up with a very reasonable quote for the job (Well under what I had imagined) and I accepted. I was concerned with city code (Brooklyn Center) about the work being done, and contacted him about it. He quickly contacted the city about the work and made sure everything was good to go for the job.
With the date and time set, the team arrived prompt and early. They were quick and efficient and taking down the trees. Nicholas occasionally would check in and frequently updated me on the process.
What really set his team apart from other options was how they really did go the extra mile in their work. With the new trees we had them put in, they offered to mulch up and landscape around the new trees with the old pine. The work done well exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely hire his team again for any future work.
If you're looking for honest, quality work done, you're not going to find anyone who will take care of your needs better.
