1. Pricing Is Based on Industry-Standard Guidelines We use standardized pricing software (like Xactimate) that insurance companies also use. This ensures our prices: Are consistent with current market rates Match what insurers consider reasonable Are updated regularly based on material and labor costs 2. Cost Depends on the Extent of Damage Every job is different. Pricing is influenced by: Size of the affected area Level of contamination or saturation Materials that need removal (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.) Equipment needed (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers) Duration of the project We never charge for services you don’t need, and we explain the scope before starting. 3. We Provide a Clear Estimate Up Front Before any work begins, we provide: A written scope of work A detailed breakdown of costs Straightforward explanations with no hidden charges If additional issues are discovered during the job, we discuss them with you before proceeding. 4. No “Surprise Fees” We do not believe in unexpected add-ons. Common fees are explained clearly, such as: Containment setup HEPA filtration equipment Specialty cleaning or sanitizing Disposal of contaminated materials Everything is disclosed before you sign. 5. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
-1. Initial Contact & Intake Customer reaches out via phone, website, referral, or insurance. Dispatcher collects essential details: Type of damage (water, fire, mold, biohazard, hoarding, etc.) Severity and affected areas Safety concerns (standing water, structural damage, odors, hazards) Address and access instructions Insurance information (if applicable) Emergency response is scheduled—same day for urgent cases. 2. Rapid Response & On-Site Assessment A certified technician or project manager arrives on-site. Conducts safety check: electrical hazards, structural integrity, contamination risks. Performs detailed inspection: Moisture mapping for water damage Thermal imaging if needed Air quality or surface sampling for mold (if required) Photographs and documents the conditions. Determines scope of work and priorities. 3. Customer Consultation & Explanation Technician explains: What caused the issue (if known) The damage present and risks if untreated Recommended remediation or restoration steps What equipment will be used Estimated timelines Addresses the customer’s concerns and questions. 4. Proposal, Estimate, & Authorization Company provides: Written scope of work Estimate or insurance-approved pricing Service agreement or work authorization form Customer signs to approve the work. For insurance claims: the company often works directly with the adjuster. 5. Mitigation or Remediation Begins Depending on the job type: Water Damage Water extraction Removal of unsalvageable materials Set up drying equipment Fire Damage Debris removal Soot/smoke cleanup Odor neutralization Mold Remediation Containment barriers installed Air scrubbers set Removal of affected materials Biohazard/Hoarding Cleanup PPE used Sorting, disposal, sanitization Odor and contamination treatment Throughout the work: Photos and notes are documented Equipment readings are taken daily Customer receives updates 6.
