- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always "seen" beautiful photos. Even when I didn't have a camera in my hands, I would "see" a photo opportunity and wish I could capture that moment, that angle, that light... As the girl who always showed up at events with a camera in hand, I eventually learned the art of photo editing and after many many years as an amateur, I was asked to photograph a friends wedding. Upon consideration, I realized I absolutely could do it! I began to work on the technical skills required to compose incredible photos and eventually, I decided to make it a business. I've been booking and snapping away ever since and I am over-the-moon thrilled at the love I have for capturing beautiful photos... nothing else in this world makes me feel like I do when I can be a part of capturing someone's memories!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a style that represents the type of photography YOU want to look back at, decades from now, with a smile on your face as you reminisce about not just how your day looked... but how it felt to be there.
