FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Repairs: We publish pricing for our most common repairs directly on our website, so customers can see what standard repairs cost before scheduling service. Our Repair Service Call fee is $45, and that fee is fully credited toward any repair work approved during the visit. If the issue is outside the scope of a standard published repair, we provide clear pricing before any work begins. Installations: For new garage doors, we provide Good / Better / Best recommendations with firm pricing, so customers can compare options clearly and choose the solution that best fits their priorities and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Repairs: We start by understanding what the door or opener is doing and then work to identify the actual cause of the problem. We explain what we found, review the repair options, and confirm pricing before any work begins. If the customer approves the repair, we complete the work, test the entire system, and verify safe operation before we leave. Door Installations: Our process starts before the on-site visit. We ask for some basic information and a straight-on photo of the home, then evaluate the home’s architecture, exterior colors, windows, and overall design character. We build a short Home Design Brief that explains the garage door design choices (color, stamp design, windows) that fit best with your home's architecture. From there, we prepare tailored Good / Better / Best door recommendations, including photorealistic renderings showing each option on the customer’s actual home. At the on-site consultation, we measure the garage, confirm installation requirements, walk through the prepared options, make any adjustments, and provide firm installed pricing. The customer can then choose an option, request changes, or simply keep the written quote and think it over—there is no pressure or obligation. Once you decide to move forward, there is a 20% deposit required with the remaining balance due upon completion of the installation.
