Introduction: At 5'9" and 135 pounds when I graduated high school, I was your prototypical skinny nerd. I spent years trying to gain bigger muscles, more body weight, etc. and in the end, just wound up skinny-fat; a little heavier, but still without much muscle. Finally, I began to learn what works. Now, more than two decades later, I've added quality weight (muscle), I've competed at powerlfiting setting numerous national records, and I've learned to manipulate bodyweight (up or down) as I desire. I've also taken these skills and helped others reach their goals, whether it's helping someone increase their leg muscle strength to allow them to complete their first marathon, helping a busy mom lose some weight and get more toned, or helping a working dad get in better shape to keep up with his two energetic children. Greg is a concise and efficient trainer. He clearly and demonstratively shows proper form and technique so as to 1) prevent injury and 2) ensures that you have the most effective work out possible so that you quickly feel and see results. He regularly changes things up so you are not doing the same exercises over and over, and provides a customized workout routine to do at home. Greg also stresses the importance of nutrition as being fundamental to fitness and lives by what he teaches. He's a great trainer!

Greg gave me lots of good advice to get started and I highly recommend him. Since I am a beginner when it comes to working out I needed a lot of easy to understand instruction and I didn’t want anything overwhelming at first as I knew the end result is that I would give up. Greg understood and gave me a perfectly tailored workout. He made it easy to understand the proper form needed for each individual workout and made sure I was doing it properly so I got the most out of each workout and didn’t injure myself. He also asked me a lot of questions initially so he could understand what I was looking to achieve. He also gave me lots of positive feedback which helped tremendously with my overall motivation and progress. In short, Greg is an excellent instructor and I continue to see great progress as time goes by.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    On-line virtual training is a flat, per-month fee. In person training is charged per session, but plans can be developed that include some training sessions on your own that end up being free!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Working together begins with an overall discussion of your goals, past experiences with exercise and diet, and any current medical conditions or issues. I then work together with you to devise a total plan to achieve the results you desire while keeping things within the program that you enjoy to help keep motivation high for continued success.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I've also obtained the Behavior Change Specialization through NASM.
