I hired Jeff to complete a bathroom remodel that I had started and didnt have time to finish. I did not know jeff prior to this and was given his name as a referral from a realtor I know. The project included electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tile and finish work. The bathroom is large, about 20 feet x 7 feet and includes a custome open shower that is 7 x 5 feet.
Jeff quickly assessed the work and the subcontractors he would use to bid the job with him and provided a bid back to me within two weeks. Jeff also estimated the time it would take to complete the project and included it in the bid.
The project went pretty much exactly to schedule, with Jeff and each of the subs completing the work when they needed in order for the next steps to start. Jeff was very responsive to email, text and phone calls all through out the project and proactive in contacting me as needed to maintain this schedule.
In the end the quality of work provided was excellent on all accounts. Each sub and Jeff took pride in their work and it showed as the pieces were completed. Even though the electrical, plumbing and framing is all covered in the end they took the time to make it look great had it been left exposed.
The project completed on time and on budget and I couldnt have been more pleased with the result.

Jeff listens well to find out what his clients want, provides great suggestions and then listens again. He is creative, neat, and detail oriented. As the final inspector said, "Wow, your contractor did a great job, and he made it look beautiful too."

Jeff Benson, Home Improvement Services, remodeled our small, seriously outdated bathroom. It was a complicated project that included carpentry, wall insulation, sheet rock installation, mudding and painting, tiling of shower and floor, coordinating plumbers and electricians, and putting in a heated floor system. We are supremely pleased with the results. Jeff has an excellent work ethic; he’s conscientious and ethical. The project was completed on schedule and within budget. He kept us notified of the progress of the project and when outside contractors would be coming. He was respectful, communicative, and did excellent work. He always cleaned the work site areas of our home before leaving at the end of each day.
We had several consultation visits with him before the project began. He listened carefully to our plans and concerns about the project and answered all of our questions. Throughout the project and at completion it was evident that he understood what we hoped for in the remodeled room.
The quality of the finished project is outstanding. We feel he did the work with the same attention to detail and aesthetics he would use in his own home.
We highly recommend Jeff and will hire him again. We didn’t know him before we found him through Thumbtack and we feel very fortunate to find such a gem of a contractor.
