Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Preinspections during showings and post offer follow-up; commitment to clients making the most informed choice possible and experience in the mortgage industry may be enough... Add a track record of very satisfied clients, a willingness to play devils advocate about a property you may like that is either overpriced, or just not up to snuff and over 500 hours of research and learning a year; I am well prepared to serve your best interests at all times and my list of past clients will speak to it.

Dana goes the extra mile to make his clients happy. As a first-time homebuyer who wasn't really sure what I was looking for, he made sure that I found exactly the right house for me. He didn't try to sell me on any particular house, just presented me with lots of options and then also told me the pros and cons of any particular property. He really knows his stuff - everything from potential issues with a property, all the way to the different types of mortgages available and what would be best for my situation. I would highly recommend Dana to anyone, both for outstanding service and for his expertise.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been involved with residential design since the early 80's and continued to pursue my passion for our built environment. The real estate industry is multifaceted and ever changing, there is always something new and this keeps the business interesting. I spend over 40 hours a month reading, researching and learning about new challenges and resources.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When listing your home in Minnesota, shop around, prices are competative, but like most services, you don't always get what you pay for. If you are doing a short sale, ask your agent if they negotiate them themselves. If the answer is no, ask them why not and if they understand the process - then call me and learn things most agents have no idea about. If you are buying a home, ask how many homes your agent will show a typical client and how hard they work after you sign a purchase agreement. There are many things a good agent will do for you that things you don't necessarily see. Get references or even ask to speak to current clients. Quick answers and polished showmanship my look impressive, but does not necessarily demonstrate knowledge, ability or willingness to go the extra mile for you. Also ask if your agent is in the business full time or part time. There are too many things to list here, most important is that you trust the person you are working with is truly competent and has you interests at heart.
