Introduction: Barbara Landis specializes in teaching dressage to young riders and adult amateurs. She continues to start young horses and train all breeds regardless of the intended discipline. Specializing in young riders, amateur owners, and novice adults, Barb emphasizes classical riding in all disciplines. She brings horse-rider teams together to maximize their abilities, work toward their goals and enhance their enjoyment of their chosen sport. Her young rider and adult amateurs have been successful in recognized dressage shows, earning year-end titles and multiple high-point awards. She has advanced child riders from their first ride to their first blue ribbons and first championships. Her adult riders have similar success in the show ring. Emphasizing safety and solid basics, lesson are provided in a relaxed environment that is conducive to learning. Whether you wish to feel confident on the trail, pursue basic horsemanship, or work toward rated competition, instruction is geared toward the rider's individual goals. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Lessons and lease horses are available. A large well-lit indoor arena affords riding year-round.
