Julie came out to see my garden and listen to what Help I thought I needed. She gave advice and offered some great ideas. She also shared some plants with me. I can’t wait until next spring to see how my new plants look!Oct 11, 2019Verified

Julie has been our gardener for the last few years. She is very dependable, has a great work ethic and is very passionate about gardening. She has great attention to detail and is very knowledgeable about a wide range of plants and vegetation. She is also very open and willing to teach you all this information. As Julie is a garden enthusiast, she also offers wonderful ideas as to how you can improve your garden and general outdoor space. I would highly recommend Julie for anyone looking for a gardener.Aug 18, 2016
Julie helped us plant a garden that perfectly suited us and our yard. Julie also planted a garden for the City of Jordan, MN. Her own yard, with its challenging slopes and lighting is amazing. Julie loves gardens, and it shows! Thom Boncher Jordan, MNJul 31, 2016
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Each garden is unique and has different needs. The pricing varies depending on what needs to be done. I offer 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not happy with my services, you pay only what you think the job is worth.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Initially, I try to learn as much as possible about the customer. I ask a lot of questions about their new and/or existing garden. If the customer is interested in garden design, I invite them to my home for an initial consultation and a tour of my gardens. Understanding the customer allows me to get a picture of what is most important to them. After the initial consultation, I create a garden design plan specific to their gardening needs. We would then discuss different options and I would explain the process on how to accomplish the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?10+ years of on-going horticulture education & training at the University of MN.
