FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices for long arm quilting edge to edge is .03 per square inch. Estimate cost is done by taking length X width and multiplying by .03. This does not include batting or backing fabric. Custom quilting can be up to .06 inch. If you want me to also bind the quilt. That is .18 a running inch.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When starting a new project I talk with them about what kind of quilting design they would like. We also talk about thread color. On custom quilts, first need to decide on a pattern and then a color palette.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been quilting for 15 years and finished 100's of quilts. I also do fiber art quilts.
