FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting someone for the first time can be nerve wracking. I try to mitigate that by learning about you, your goals for the session, and the purpose of the photos. I am open to communicating through email, text, call or on Thumbtack. I believe the biggest thing is to stay in communication with each other; I like to transfer this into the shoot as well. I may ask you questions as I am taking photos to get a more genuine feel to your photos by adding raw emotions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Graphic Designer, I understand what is captivating to the eye. I also attended the Mass Communication Foundations course at the Defense Information School in Maryland where I learned photography, videography, news writing and perfected my graphics skills.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began going to school for Graphic Design and then trained as a Public Affairs Specialist for the Army at the Defense Information School in Maryland. There I was able to hone in on my photography skills as part of the curriculum.
