FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I am certified by the Association of Bridal Consultants, and routinely check for any continuation or excelling my knowledge in the field. I currently am learning more about what it takes and what you need to do in order to create a wedding for a couple that is part of the LGBT community.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been planning my own someday wedding since the 3rd grade and known a love for wedding since Rachel Green (at age 3 watching FRIENDS with my mom) played by Jennifer Aniston, coming in her wedding dress all the while me playing with my wedding day Barbie and Ken that I too wanted to get married. I had many dream journals throughout growing up of different ideas of what it is i wanted. From there and becoming a teenager I started to see how much planning it took me for everything day by day and making lists. From there I decided that it is destiny or fate that lured me in to wanting a career in wedding palnning.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I am new to this, so be patient and know that if I don't get back to you within 60 seconds I am not ignoring you, I am doing something else at the present moment. Be prepared to have lots of ideas, if not you and I are going to make something to give you a perspective of what you want.
