Learning a language later in life is a humbling process but Nancy is patient, encouraging, and steadfast in working with us (my husband and I take lessons together). Nancy has a good sense of humor but manages to keep us on task. She is easy to schedule with, always on time, and very experienced. Her classes are a good value as well. We tried a group Zoom class though a local language institute before working with a private teacher and it was too difficult balancing all the various questions and levels of learning. We're grateful we found her!"See more

As a mother, I needed an excellent tutor to guide my son to better his grades and SAT scores. Hiring Jay was the best decision onto achieving that goal. Jay showed a knowledge of the material for in-and-out the curriculum, and provided an excellent example of professionalism. He was extremely flexible, and really cared for my son through his studies. These are some of the most important traits you need in a language teacher. It's hard to speak a second language correctly 100% of the time. I’ve lived in the US for 13 years now, and I still struggle with tenses, plurals, and colloquial terms. During our weekly sessions, Trish has been able to correct all of these weak points. I've learned the 'spirit' of English to speak more like a native speaker, which is my ultimate goal. She also helps me understand the nuance of tenses, something my husband has struggled to explain to me for the past 10 years.
