FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on your case, I may require an up front fee in addition to a contingency fee. If that is the case, I reduce the percentage of my contingency fee. In the end, it means more money in your pocket if your case is successful. Even with contingency fee cases, the client is responsible for costs and expenses. Large firms can cover these costs for you but they deduct all of these expenses from any recovery you receive. I try to limit expenses wherever possible, to save you money.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Minnesota attorneys are required to earn 45 hours of continuing education every 3 years.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I represent people who have been injured by another person's negligence. I also represent landlords and/or tenants. I handle appeals if necessary, and I prepare for every case as though it will go to trial. Don't settle for lawyers who always seek to settle.
