Introduction: I have a performance background as well as a speaker and an educator.. Why is this important? I have the strong urge of a performer to reach out and engage audiences and give more than they ever expected. The enthusiastic body language I have mastered enhances the story-telling I use to make points, and it energizes my viewers as much as it energizes me. I get rave reviews for my use of storytelling to make complex ideas clear to clients and audiences. In addition to my 30 years as a psychologist, speaker and educator, I am a life-long introvert and was crippled by shyness for several decades before developing my own program to overcome this challenge. Now I inspire others to recognize how much talent is going unrecognized in the business world, and to develop programs to mine that treasure. I most enjoy inspiring people who have been inhibited by our outgoing culture to take their place in the world and become visible and valued.

Lynette Crane was speaker on Introversion in the Workplace at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits Annual Conference in October of 2015. Her presentation was a huge success because she presented extremely relatable information about a topic that is highly important, yet not widely discussed. She presented to a packed room (a very quiet, introverted packed room), but got the group talking and presented with a high level of expertise and engaging wit. This was one of our most well-received HR-related sessions in our almost 30 year history, and we have invited her back for several additional speaking opportunities. I would definitely recommend Lynette to any organization looking for a speaker who is engaging, approachable and knowledgeable, and can help employers, supervisors and employees leverage the power of introverts (which, by the way, is about half the workforce).

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I do have a tiered pricing system, with lower fees for non-profits, such as educational institutions. Please contact me for further information, and give me details about your organization, its needs, and the size of the group.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

i do keynotes, half and full-day seminars, teleconferences, and individual coaching.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The more you can tell me about your group, the better I can tailor my talk to meet your and their needs - which I am happy to do. Sometimes just a few words will give me insight into your needs. Sometimes as more detailed needs analysis is called for, and I can work with you on that, too. I don't like "cookie-cutter" or "off-the-shelf" presentations..
