Many people can marry you, and every one of us is different. What sets me apart is my master’s of fine arts degree in creative writing and a minor degree in Indigenous Cultures focusing on ritual and ceremony. For years I worked in non-profit communications. Then, several years ago I trained and became ordained through the Humanist Society and began officiating weddings.
Now, after completing certification as a Master Celebrant, I do am a full-time, non-religious Celebrant. My intention is to bring a sense of welcome, authenticity, delight, play, and depth to every ceremony. And I limit the number of ceremonies I perform so each ceremony gets the attention it needs to be special.

Fia did an absolutely amazing job officiating our elopement ceremony! She is such a positive and supportive person!She communicated with us very well throughout the whole process. FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a range of fee, it really depends on the complexity of the ceremony. I highly encourage couples to meet with me (free initial consultation) so we can see if we are a good fit, and arrive at the fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, a free initial consultation. Then I send a recap of what we discussed in a ceremony Outline, an Agreement, and a a suggested Timeline for ceremony development. Once the Agreement is signed and a retainer is paid, I send documents for the couple to make selections from as well as Questionnaires.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studies ceremony since I was young and still attending the Catholic Church. Since then I have continued to study ceremony and rituals from around the world. Since 1996, I have worked in Communications. In 2006 I completed a master's degree in creative writing. Then in 2017, I became a Humanist Celebrant and began officiating non-religious Wedding and Celebration-of-Life ceremonies. Most recently I completed an intensive six-month Master Celebrant program.
