My training includes mudding, sanding, applying multiple coats of joint compound, and matching existing textures. I understand the importance of surface preparation, including patching holes, repairing cracks, and ensuring walls are level and ready for finishing. In painting, I have experience with proper surface prep such as cleaning, sanding, caulking, priming, and masking. I’m trained in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment for both interior and exterior projects. I understand different types of paints and finishes (latex, oil-based, primers, stains) and when to use them. I also follow safety procedures, including ladder safety and proper ventilation.Additionally, I’ve developed skills in reading blueprints or job specifications, estimating materials, and maintaining a clean and organized job site.
