I'm a jack of all trades. My degree is in Electrical Engineering from Anoka Technical college and I have worked in the R&D space since 2016. Electrical is what I like to focus on but I am also very comfortable working with mechanical and plumbing as well.

Luke came within a couple hours of my email and was going to be coming back the next morning (on a Saturday), but he determined that my range was too old to get parts for, so he let me know Saturday morning. He only charged me a minimal fee for coming out, researching the problem and getting back to me. He was wonderful to work with and I’d definitely call him again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack charges the professional a fee for the lead. The cost of that charge varies based apon the needs of the customer. For example thumbtack might charge $20 to replace a light switch and $200 to replace a roof (just an example).
For example my invoice to repair an appliance might look like this.
Thumbtack charge = $25
Parts = $125
Labor (1 hr minimum) 2.5 hrs = $250
Total = $400
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to stop over and give a free estimate right away. This allows us to meet and it gives me a chance to make sure I know what you need done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-Electrical Engineering from Anoka Technical College.
-I've been working with electrical and machines since 2007.
-I started in R&D in 2016, i still work in this space.
-In 2023 I got my certificate to work with refrigeration.
