- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very simple. I base my labor costs on the difficulty of the project and the estimated amount of time that the project will take. I do not charge by the hour. Any materials that are needed for the project would come from a local hardware store. There is not an "up charge" for materials. I provide the receipt for the materials to the customer and they pay the amount on the receipt. There are no hidden costs for the materials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the initial visit to the customers home, I will asess the project that needs completed, discuss the approach that I would take to complete the project, as well as discuss any concerns that I may find upon inspection of the area of where the project will take place.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I carry copies of certificates from any work related educational classes that I have completed as well as customer satisfaction letters with me to every jobsite. Also, I have been in the construction industry for over 20 years and have had several years of "hands on" training.
