FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Attorneys fees in the vast majority of personal industry cases is 1/3 of the recovery. In Medical Negligence claims, fees are typically 40%. Because cases are handled on a contingency basis, the attorney does not receive any legal fees unless there is a recovery.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We insist upon an in person meeting with the client. That meeting, which can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours (depending on the complexity of the case and the prospective client's questions), serves multiple purposes. The first half involves reviewing over the facts of the accident, the injuries suffered, the treatment received, and the status of insurance coverage. The second half of the meeting is the attorney laying out in details the types of claims, if any, available to the prospective clients and the steps that will be taken to pursue those claims. The attorney answers any questions the prospective client may have and lays out our expectations for the client.
