Nate made some beautiful cabinets for our basement. The quality of these cabinets cannot be understated. He listened to what I wanted and he made sure I was happy with the finished product. The timeline was a little later than his original estimate but they were worth the wait.

Nate is great! He responded promptly to our initial email and remained responsive throughout the project. He worked with us to understand the custom piece we wanted (a bathroom vanity). Although there was an element of the piece that he hadn’t seen before, and was challenging to conceptualize, he maintained curiosity and positivity. He came to our house (masks on everyone) to better understand the space and the piece. Completion and delivery was timely. It is gorgeous—meeting and exceeding our hopes. I was especially impressed with Nate’s diligence with installation. It was challenging to fit the piece into the space due to an uneven floor and pre-existing cuts into the moulding. (Our house is 100+ years old.) Nate was patient and problem-solved until it was done. After installation, we needed several cuts to the inside of the vanity in order to fit a sink. Nate charged a reasonable rate to come back and make the cuts. We feel fortunate to have found Nate and to now have his craftsmanship in our home. I highly recommend Nate.

Contracted a custom vanity and over toilet cabinet in dark blue. The quality of craftmanship, material, and attention to detail is stellar. I could not be more happy to have these pieces as part of my new master bath remodel. I am having NB Woodwork quote more projects in my house. Thank you so much for improving the look of my environment. My husband (being an DIY woodwooker) was very pleased with the project. Will add photos once the new vanity is in.

Nate was great to work with from start to finish and the project came out just how we had pictured. He is very fast at communicating and had great suggestions on the parts we were unsure of. He even went above and beyond and hung the hardware that we had picked out. We had given him several images to work off of and he made them a reality. We will definitely be using NB Woodworks in the future and would highly recommend his services for any custom wood project.

Every job is priced on an individual job basis. A multitude of factors determine the price, that's why each job is different and priced specifically for that work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer that the customer provides as much details and information about their project, so I can accurately provide them with a quote for the work. Any number of inspiration photos and measurements of the space is highly recommended.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cabinetmaking degree from Hennepin Technical College. Marketing degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
