Introduction: Having grown up on a nature-based horse farm and riding school in rural NY, I have an instinctive and primal love of horses. My mother started our USPC, the Garrison Pony Club, and by the age of 12, I was helping her teach riding lessons and summer camps.
I earned my B rating at the age of 14 and decided to slow down when my horse was diagnosed with navicular. I'm very empathetic to the horse's experience and continue to bring a sensitive eye and heart into the arena.
As an adult, I studied movement arts and therapies, namely dance, martial arts, yoga, authentic movement, and the Alexander technique. All of which inform my focus as a rider, trainer, and instructor.
I provide group, semi-private, or private lessons in equitation, Dressage or jumping. I enjoy helping people understand and be sensitive to their horse's body language and develop a collaborative working relationship with their partner. Must provide own horse.
