What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a number of different pricing structures. A basic one can be found on our website to give you a ball park idea however if your niche is at all competitive you will want a custom plan created. Contact us to find out more about the custom plans.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
YES! I spend somewhere in the ball park of 15-20 hours a week learning and then have 20+ different websites that I test strategies on. I then monitor results and keep the ones that work. There are no formal courses because SEO is such a moving target however there are a few sources that teach what is actually working. They are very expensive and difficult to find. Many of the sites that claim to be SEO experts are really just spreading dis-information or making their money from selling training.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Back in 2008 I had a bit of experience in online marketing, at the time I was a full time real estate agent (Realtor) I wanted to market my business online. As I began to learn more about SEO I realized that it was my true passion. Shortly after I made a decision to focus less on real estate and more on online marketing. When I had difficulties going to bed at night because I just wanted to learn or test one more strategy I knew I had found my calling!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Increasing search engine rankings, shooting lead generation videos and ranking them, online presence setup.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
-Ask if they are using primarily automated tools.
-Ask if they are outsourcing everything overseas
-Ask how long it will take before seeing results (with a grain of salt because none of us control Google), however we should be able to give you a reasonable idea.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
We are working on a moving target. What Google wanted 3-5 years ago is now the same thing that would get your site penalized. Staying up to date on the latest strategies is vital. In addition Google hates SEO, they would rather business owners simply give up and pay to advertise with AdWords, so they are constantly switching things up to make it difficult. That is where having an expert in your corner is vital, you must stay ahead of the algorithms in order to maintain rankings.
