About
I am a business and marketing consultant in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro. I have been helping to start, grow and sell businesses for over 12 years. In 2012 I founded my own social media agency, which I grew to 11 people in 3 years and sold. Now I help other business owners build, manage and sell their companies using the same strategies. My specialty is data-driven strategy, which I develop by collecting digital data from social media, review sites and other online sources to identify trends in my client's industries. For my clients with physical locations, I conduct on-site visits to both their locations and those of the competitors to develop comprehensive strategies. I love helping business owners put the pieces together to form stronger, more efficient companies that can stand the test of time and changing market conditions.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My hourly rate starts at $125. I offer retainer packages and day rates for larger projects.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I start with a free phone consultation for all clients. This is a chance for me to learn more about your business and for you to learn more about my process.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

It was an accident! I was a very entrepreneurial kid and selling bags of pine cones from my yard to the neighborhood ladies for their crafts was my first business. I think I was about 9 or so. In college, I was charging bands to consult on their marketing strategies to build audiences and increase attendance at their shows. I was then "discovered" by a local entrepreneur and just kept taking on projects. I started my first "real" company at the age of 25 and grew it to 11 employees in under 3 years. I recently sold the company, and now I'm helping other companies build their business strategies. I work with a few large brands and many small brands on a regular basis.
