Jonathan is the first counselor we’ve seen who has been able to understand the complexities of our mixed-culture marriage. We’ve been to other counselors who were kind and well-intentioned, but they never seemed to grasp the deeper cultural issues at play. Our sessions with Jonathan feel different. He's not just listening to our words; he’s understanding the context behind them and he has helped us both understand each other better as well. For the first time, we were not stuck in the initial stages of trying to explain our different backgrounds. We could actually get to the heart of our issues and discuss them. Jonathan has helped us find a way to communicate that respects both of our cultures, allowing us to move forward instead of being caught in misunderstandings. We are so grateful to have found him.

Session fees are $175 per hour. I DO NOT accept INSURANCE as my focus is crisis-oriented.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Trauma and Addiction Professional with the International Institute of Addiction & Trauma Professionals (IITAP) and a Redwood with the Crucible Project. I have been counseling and coaching individuals and couples for over 20 years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Individuals and Couples. I often work in the areas of infidelity and recovery with couples. I have clients who are journeyman electricians to current NFL players.
