Alterations and Accessories

Introduction: I sew from patterns, customize patterns, do alterations and make wedding accessories, pillows, curtains, kitchen and table accessories. I work with most fabrics. I do not work with heavyweight fabrics or leather at this time. I am skilled with hand-stitched embroidery, cross stitch and needlepoint and can make pictures, table linens or bed linens. I crochet blankets, baby blankets or shawls. I can provide you with a one-of-a-kind and perfect match. My pricing varies. Some alterations such as hems are priced by the job. Other works are priced by the hour. You provide the basic materials -- garment or fabric, yarns, notions and patterns. I can do your shopping for you but will require a deposit to cover the cost of the materials. I recently completed a wedding project. I made and fitted the bride's dress, the matron of honor's jacket for her dress, the junior bridesmaid's dress and did alterations on the bridesmaid's dress. I made the ring bearer's pillow from the fabric leftover of the bride's dress. I made all four wedding silk flower bouquets, the flower girl's headband and her matching basket. I custom decorated the unity candle with ribbons and hearts to match the color scheme and theme of the wedding. I designed and printed the wedding invitations, RSVP cards, information cards and the wedding programs. I work fast, accurately and meticulously. I love beautiful. My work reflects it.
