- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Aycox Bookkeeping, we believe in Flat-Fee, Value-Based Pricing. This means you will always know exactly what you are paying each month—no surprise hourly bills or hidden 'consultation' fees. 1. Transparent Monthly Packages We offer three tiers of monthly service (Basic, Standard, and Premium) tailored to your transaction volume and business size. Whether you are a solo contractor or have a growing team with payroll, our pricing scales with you. 2. Fixed-Price Cleanup Projects If your books are behind or messy, we provide a one-time, fixed-price quote for a 'Full Discovery & Cleanup.' After a free initial review of your QuickBooks file, we will tell you exactly what it costs to get you 100% tax-ready. 3. No Long-Term Contracts We earn your business every month. While we aim for long-term partnerships, our monthly services are month-to-month. We want you to stay because you love the service, not because of a legal document.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our New Client Onboarding Process "We have a streamlined, 100% remote process designed to get you organized quickly without taking up your valuable time. Here is how we get started:" Step 1: Free Discovery Consultation & File Review We start with a 15-minute Zoom or phone call to discuss your business needs and pain points. If you already have a QuickBooks account, I perform a 'Diagnostic Review' to see exactly what needs to be cleaned up or optimized. Step 2: Custom Proposal & Fixed-Price Quote Based on our discovery call, I provide a transparent, flat-fee proposal. You choose the service level that fits your budget. Once you sign the digital engagement letter, we are officially a team! Step 3: Secure Onboarding & Integration We set up a secure digital portal for you to share documents. We connect your bank feeds to QuickBooks Online and set up any necessary integrations (like payroll or receipt-fetching apps). Step 4: The Cleanup or Setup Phase If your books are behind, this is where the heavy lifting happens. I reconcile your accounts, categorize historical data, and ensure your Balance Sheet is accurate to the penny. If you are starting fresh, I build your Chart of Accounts tailored to your specific industry (Construction, Landscaping, etc.). Step 5: Monthly Peace of Mind Once the foundation is solid, we move into a monthly rhythm. By the 10th: I reconcile your accounts and review all transactions. By the 15th: I deliver your monthly financial reports (P&L and Balance Sheet). Ongoing: We have a brief check-in to discuss your numbers and answer any questions.
