Introduction

I am a certified electrician with over 26 years experience working with residential, industrial, and commercial electricity. I currently do not pull permits. I earned my Associates degree from Ranken Technical College in electricity and electronics in 1999 with high honors. This 40 hour per week college taught me more than what’s in the books and hands on skills. Ranken also taught me how to create the highest work ethic standard possible that I pass on to you which reflects in my work. I concentrate on doing jobs correctly the first time, on time, and all the time so I can usually get to you within one to three days, unlike bigger companies. Tim was amazing at setting up recessed lights in our master bedroom, fixing our master bath outlet and fixing our smart doorbell. He did all of these and exceptionally fast time with great quality. His prices were down better than the competition of work and professionalism was top-notch. We are already looking at our next project with Tim’s Electric. I cannot recommend him enough

I had been dealing with electrical issues for years, so I had 2 outlets in the whole house that worked, he was able to schedule the next day, he was able to fix all of the outlets, he was kind & respectful to my dogs & my mobility issues. He did a really good job overall.

Two thumbs up! Tim did a great job with my list of electrical needs and was informative and friendly to boot! He installed ceiling fans, he rewired a light and a fan to their own wall switches, he put new wire in a wall sconce that was damaged and replaced wall switches that were going bad. Tim and his company will be my go-to for a great electrician! Highly recommend!

Tim Brown quickly resolved the electrical issue in my home. It was a simple problem but one that stumped multiple people—except Tim. He had my problem resolved in 15 minutes. It turns out that I was using non-dimmable bulbs with a dimmer switch. In addition, I had incorrect wire nuts in the outlet. Tim had everything fixed in 15 minutes! What a talented guy! Also, he was very pleasant and easy to talk to. He passed the dog test, too. My dog, Scout, approved of him immediately. Thanks, Tim! I would hire you again without hesitation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are very fair! It’s no cost for my service call where I come out to give estimates on the work you are requesting. The service call is optional and is best used with larger projects. The most popular option is to hire me for the work without the service call and that is billed at $165 per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do not run from the work, I run to the work! The same can be said for my customer relationships. I am positive, kind, and I listen to any and all concerns someone may have to address it properly. I will take this into consideration when doing my work to ensure you (my customer) will be the most satisfied possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed the Industrial Electricity and Electronics program at Ranken Technical College in 2001. I have 26 years total experience with all types of electricity (industrial, residential, and commercial) and for 16 years of my career I also did maintenance work.
