I carry liability insurance for my company and all work is done to the most current 2023 National Electrical Code. A little about me; I started out doing car stereos at 16 and wired my first two residential homes as part of a two year carpentry course in high school. When I was 19, I earned my Associates degree from Ranken Technical College and Missouri electrical certification. This 40 hour per week 2 year college taught me more than what’s in the books. It taught me valuable hands on skills, responsibility, professionalism, and how to create the highest work ethic standard possible to pass on to you. I have worked jobs as a programmer, engineer, lead mechanical technician, and electrician throughout my career. I concentrate on doing jobs correctly the first time and on time so I can get you booked much faster than busy bigger companies (sometimes same day). I have a competitive rate, I’m a great problem solver, I’m fast, efficient, hard working, and I always have a very positive attitude. Tim is the man. We have an old home that failed inspection due to some electrical issues. I thought it was going to be a lengthy repair but he approached it very methodically and had it done it no time. He was also cool with me watching and asking hundreds of questions the whole time. I’ll be keeping his number on hand.

Tim is super nice and responded quickly for my urgent request and got the job done. Price is probably higher than other non licensed Electricians (as he is) Ceiling fan cost more than $200 per fan as he charges per hour. Originally he estimated $150 per fan but ended up with $630 for 3 ceiling fans. This is after my original request of extending wire to a new microwave location. He didn’t have to do any wiring. He cut opened the floor and found wire is long enough and so he just put holes through floor beam and floor panel of the new microwave location and he added one outlet for new cabinet lightings . They were $350. I wouldn’t say extremely expensive but probably 30-50% more expensive than someone who gives flat fee quotes. So if not emergency I would call more reasonably priced electrician. But for me I had to figure out the kitchen outlet situation urgently, it worth it for this time.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is very fair! For my service call I will come out to give estimates on the work you are requesting. The service call is optional and is best used with larger projects and no tools are used. The most popular option is to hire me for the work without the service call at $180 per hour ($180 minimum charge, if work is done). This rate is non negotiable and I do not charge by the minute within the first hour of work. After an hour it is charged in 30 min increments.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do not run from the work, I run to the work! The same can be said for my customer relationships. I am positive, kind, and I listen to any and all concerns you may have to address it properly. I will take this into consideration when doing my work to ensure you get the most out of my services as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed the Industrial Electricity and Electronics program at Ranken Technical College in 2001. I have 28 years of experience with all types of electricity (industrial, residential, and commercial). For 16 years of my career I also did mechanical maintenance, programming, and engineering.
