I was originally hesitant to call a professional when my DIY cable installation project got out of hand, but now I wish I had called Dan before I ever started. My old house threw us a lot of curveballs, but each time Dan would return from his truck with a tool made for specifically to defeat each obstacle. I couldn’t be happier with the end result, and I even learned a few tricks while he worked. A project I’d been trying to plan and start for months was suddenly finished in a day, and it was 100% worth it. At first I was disappointed when no one but Dan responded to my inquiry on Thumbtack; turns out that was a blessing. 10/10

Excellent customer service. Very professional and communicates throughout the entire repair process. My laptop was about 7 years old, hasn't been used in about 2 years of that due to viruses. It was slow, pop ups every 3 seconds and components such as hard drive and memory etc... Was very outdated and not working efficiently. However, Daniel from Jenkins Custom Solutions was the answer to all my problems. I now have my laptop back and very satisfied with the work performed. Wow! A new operating system, increased memory and components and I'm back on line.Will definitely use this service again and maybe even look into other services like home theater install.

Dan refurbished my 3 to 4 year old computer so it would run faster and quieter. He bought the new hard drive, RAM, and other stuff and installed it for me. So far, it seems to be running faster and quieter than when I gave it to him. The memory capacity is greater and I hope to get another few years of high performance out of my computer.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In order to remain focused on the project, I charge per job, and not by the hour. When charging by the hour it becomes less about the project and more about hours, which is distracting to the end goal and keeps me from amazing my customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, completely understanding their needs and their own unique situation, then providing a competitive quote. I try to make it as easy as possible to provide a solution and service the customers needs in the most expedient and cost effective way possible, all without sacrificing quality in service or end result.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years experience in just about every aspect of technology, and equal as much in general contracting/remodeling. I also have an Associates Degree in Computer Science.
