As a woman offering wedding officiation, I provide a flexible, personalized wedding service that is as traditional or as unique as you desire.
I love engaging with couples to create a wedding experience that uniquely reflects their personalities, preferences and situation. I will bring a caring, supportive, enthusiastic presence into the process of creating your "perfect day", whatever that looks like for you.
I value the right of everyone to be married to the person they love. My services are always gender and sexuality inclusive.
I have crafted services for non-religious, Christian, Pagan, Buddhist, and Muslim couples. I also offer weddings in American Sign Language, for Deaf/Hard of Hearing couples.
Note: I rarely book weddings more than 6 months in advance, but if you want to request me for a date more than 6 months away, send me a message and we'll see what we can work out.

Tessi did great! She walked us through what needed to be done asking us along the way what we envisioned for the ceremony. Even though we were late to our own she was there and supportive.
There were some short notices that didn’t workout but it still worked out great. She seemed flexible with all the last minute changes.

Tessi was quick to answer my initial plea for an officiant for a small wedding at our house with a 2 week lead time. She cleared her calendar to make the time we wanted work and showed up punctually. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base fee for a wedding is $100 with the ceremony I provide. Customizing the ceremony to fit exactly your ideas is an additional $25, and facilitating/attending the rehearsal ranges $25-$50, and travel can cost an additional $50-$150 depending on how far from Columbia/Fulton/Jefferson City area I have to travel. I offer pre-wedding consultation and counseling sessions as well; contact me for details and pricing!
I do not usually book weddings more than 6 months out, so if you're planning far in advance, feel free to contact me closer to the day!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My new-customer process is as varied as my customer! Some people just need an officiant to show up, ready to perform a marriage, others would prefer to meet virtually in advance and carefully craft exactly the service they desire. I'm flexible, depending on the needs and the situation, but I always strive to be easy to work with, prompt in my communication, and fully invested in your needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an ecumentical minister, serving primarily in the field of spiritual direction, and have completed the training program of Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation, Washington, DC.
I'm also a certified, licensed American Sign Language interpreter, which means I'm able to perform a wedding in either ASL or English, or a combination.
