Hi, I’m Julie.
Hello, and welcome! My salon is in my home, located in Grain Valley, MO. Because I am home based, I am able to provide services in a relaxing environment, with one-on-one attention to your dog. This is especially beneficial for the dogs, because I don’t have the distracting sounds of other dogs and equipment running, like that of a larger salon or vet’s office. I aim to give each dog a stress free, relaxing experience, so they go home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Animals are my passion, and bring more joy to my life than anything else. Aside from grooming, I have background working in a veterinary care setting. I have also experience in animal rescue. I believe in humanity before vanity, so in my shop I choose grooming methods that will not cause undo stress to the dog. I will never sacrifice quality for quality, which is what makes me love my job even more.

Ultimately it didn’t work out for us to use The Groom Room (my mistake) but boy did she bend over backwards trying to accommodate me. Offered great advice, was super responsive and respected my decision. If I lived closer I would t hesitate to hire.

We have used the Groom Room for both our northern breed dogs (Alaska. Malamute and Norwegian Elkhound), very hairy dogs. I was so amazed at the difference the deshedding treatment work! They were like totally different dogs. No hair came off when petting them, that’s NEVER happened! And Julie did awesome with them both. Even the sassy elkie. She treated them like they were her own.
We will definitely go back.

I love everything about The Groom Room Dog Spa. Julie is so great with dogs and she has the cutest poodle Audrey. She did a de-shed, bath with a special soap that I love, blow out, nail trim and cleaned my baby's ears. I have a Chihuahua and thought it would be a special treat for him. He had the best day! Julie took the time to really look over Frito my Chi before she started on him. Julie is so knowledgeable, has really nice grooming supplies and state of the art grooming table. If I had a long haired dog I would definitely would be a regular! I will still be taking Frito to The Groom Room Dog Spa again for a nice spa day! Julie is so professional and my dog loves her poodle Audrey. I love supporting small business especially this one!
