Introduction: Hi. My name is Carl Hawke of Hawke Health Solutions formerly known as Emergency Management Specialists and thank you for considering us for your CPR and First Aid training needs. I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude of allowing us to assist you in this endeavor. We stand out from others by knowing your time is just as valuable and being flexible as to when this task needs to be accomplished. We do not make this course mandatory to be done in a group setting. If only 1 person needs the course up to groups of 10 people, the course will go on as long as the need is there. As the owner and Instructor for the Company, I am aligned with Raytown Fire District as the AHA Training Facility I utilize to keep up to date on the training and information needed about any changes to the training. We guarantee to give the most accurate information possible in our courses. According to the Center of Disease Control, 610,000 will have a heart attack this year alone due to heart disease which is also the #1 cause. Approximately 80% of all heart attacks happen in the home. For any questions, please call to speak with us. Unfortunately, when the student is not within a 50 mile radius of Kansas City, please call to speak with us about the quote. There are some incentives to address for those classes. We look forward to being able to help with your needs. Have a great day.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

The price of the course is based on an instructor led course. AHA courses can have a manual if asked for in advance and $15 will be added to the base cost of the course. Any course over 100 miles from base (Grandview, MO) will have a flat fee of $25 added for fuel expenses. All courses with more than 10 students will receive a 5% discount for every 5 students over 10.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I teach in association with the American Heart Association standards and sub-contract with American CPR and the Red Cross (Nations Best CPR). Any Red Cross courses I ask the contact Nation's Best CPR to set up the course.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I also work as an EMT-B during events in the KC Metro area for a Private company. I am a retired Aerospace Medic in the Air Forces Reserves for almost 10 years, Navy Hospital Corpsman/ Field Medical Technician/Surgical Technician for the US Navy and Reserves for 15 years. I worked also as a Monitor Technician/ Wound Care Technician/Surgical Technician for Kindred Hospital.
