About

I have been a competitive swimmer for most of my life swimming at the state level. I am certified from Red Cross for lifeguarding and lessons. I have done ages 2 to 68. I have my own level system that I use to help children master swimming. I have done work with children with Autism and Down Syndrome as well. I love watching a kid swim across the pool for the same time, I also love working with competitive swimmers that want to shred times.

I found Alex while looking for a private swimming coach. I was self conscious about the experience because I am 28 and have very little swimming experience. Alex responded quickly and lessons were able to start the next day. She was very patient and personable. I didn't feel pressure and was able to free style swim by the end of the first lesson. She is a great teach and caters your lessons to your needs.

Alex has been a great resource in helping my 9 year old transition into the world of competitive swimming. She is able to coach him in a way that keeps him engaged where he is learning and having fun at the same time. He looks forward to every lesson with her!

I could not believe the professionalism of Alex's swimming lesson company. She communicates so well with us regarding everything. If rain is coming she texts us to let us know she may need to cancel if there is lightening! Wow!! I tell you, she's amazing!! we give her 6 out of 5 stars!

Alex is doing a wonderful job! She has been able to get my child to jump into the water, touch the bottom of the pool but most impressive is she was able to get my child to go down a water slide! Not a small task as my child has always feared the water. I'm excited to see what else can be accomplished. It's great to see him in the pool and actually smiling and willing to try new skills. Great job😃 Thank you so much! I'm so glad I found this site.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually have lessons at $20-$25 for a private lessons. Get in touch with me about group lessons and rates.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a competitive swimmer since I could walk. I started giving lessons through red cross and was a lifeguard around the age of 16. No several years later I still love to do it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with new swimmers that are timid with water, new swimmers that are fearless of the water, swimmers that want to become better, competitive swimmers that want to be faster, and older swimmers (55+) that want to learn exercises they can do in the pool.
