- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My installation pricings:$3.00 per square yard for carpet, $1.50 per square foot for floor tile, $1.50 per square yard for sheet vinyl. $1.25 per square foot for vinyl plank and laminate. These do not include possible needed floor prep, which is a per install scenario. Floor prep, leveling and skim coating, $1.00 per square foot
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process I have is to make contact with the prospective customer, to make arrangements for an accurate measure of any installation, prior to purchase and install of materials. I gather all details the customer has in mind, when it comes to the install, to achieve the ideal look of the floor. If the customer prefers to purchase their materials, I ensure they have all of the information necessary to be able to complete the installation in as minimal time as needed. If they would like for me to provide materials, I meet with them with plenty of selections, on hand,to present to them for their choosing. If a material needs to be special ordered, I will work with the customer and the shop to ensure that everything is going according to schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive work history with flooring installations, with over 20 years in the industry. I have certified training in residential electrical wiring, nearly 3 years working with a general contractor in home renovations
