David was on time and did a great job. Very nice and professional. He vacuumed inside the piano and behind the keys, did some minor repairs, polished the piano when done and tuned the piano twice to make sure it would stick. We will absolutely hire him again. He was reasonably priced and went the extra mile.

Initially I had no idea what my piano needed outside of tuning. I happened upon Stosich Piano Tuning through Thumbtack. David answered all my questions before hand and showed up early to the job. He cleaned the inside of my piano and gave it a once over. He recommended voicing it (treating the felts) and correcting the action. He tuned each and every string to a pitch that won't be off after the strings settle in a week or so. He even was able to tell me what year my piano was (1982- same as me!) and deduced it hadn't had much done since it was new. He cleaned the ouside after tuning and even threw in a voicing so my strings wouldn't break.
I'm 100% planning on hiring him again for further maintenance. David is super easy to talk to and is knowledgeable. Get the job done right the first time and hire him.

David arrived right on time and did exactly what he said he would do. My piano needed a lot of work because of its age and David offered us more affordable options for correction. I will definitely ask him to give us the next tuning in 6 months.

We moved from the Midwest, and my piano badly needed tuning. David carefully cleaned and tuned my piano, discussing contingency plans in case my (102-year-old) piano started snapping strings. He did a couple other things to improve its life span, and I was extremely satisfied. Will definitely use him again... in six months, of course.

David was extremely knowledgable and very professional. We had a really old (and a little beat up) piano. Before he tuned it, he made sure that I saw all of his concerns; there were some cracks, and rust. Instead of tuning it as requested initially, which would have made him more money, he recommended to leave it rather than risk damaging the piano. I really appreciated his candor and commitment to the instruments over making money. I will definitely call him when we need any kind of piano assistance.
