FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Throughout my life, I have always been a people person. Before we agree on anything my favorite thing to do is get to know someone over coffee. I typically invite my clients or prospects to 'Green Bean Coffee House' in Dodge City, Kansas so they have a chance to get to know me, ask questions and much more. There is never any pressure during these meetings. I am there to ask and answer questions. You won't be pressured, and you wont leave without any answers!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
During my High-School years in Dodge City, Kansas I was taken under the wing of Mr. Steven Rankin, a teacher for Dodge City High School. Together with one other student, we formed "Hot Shots Photography." Hot Shots Photography did all of the sports photography for the school, handled group photos, and much more. Concurrently, I was working as 'Lead Photographer' for the Dodge City Daily Globe (a Gatehouse Media Company). In my senior year, I was blessed to have been able to take part in filling in for the photographer of the late, Kansas City Wizards, a Major League Soccer Team (MLS) while he was on leave. Following, the previous experiences I decided to operate a business, Benson Photography, in Dodge City, Kansas which has been operating for 9 years to this day. I have performed training and classes held by Canon and the Professional Photographers of America in a variety of subjects of photography.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Benson Photography has had clients, big and small, over the years. We have worked with individuals, selling single prints from sports games, or events. We have also worked with a well known, national commercial real-estate group.
