Songahm taekwondo training lets you get in shape and stay in shape at your own pace. The basis of traditional martial arts training comes from the design of your body.
For power, we assist you in developing the larger, powerful muscles of your body. The speed of taekwondo technique comes from the fast, active muscles of your arms and legs.
When the speed and power developed through taekwondo are used in self-defense against the vulnerable parts of an attacker's body, a person can be really efficient against a much larger opponent. Just knowing you can defend yourself gives you confidence, which is often enough to deter potential attackers.
Self-confidence doesn't come naturally for many people, but by setting reasonable goals and attaining them, it can be developed over time. The self-confidence that results from taekwondo training will carry over into every aspect of your life.
